Lose The Inches, Lose The Migraine



Would it be surprising to you if I said the inches around your waist may be linked to more than the clothing size you buy? As I was scrolling through recent online articles, I ran across many that shared some of the same interesting news, and I couldn’t resist sharing it with you all. According to these articles, men and women who are categorized as obese (that is a BMI of 30 or more) have a surprisingly dramatic increase in the chances of getting chronic headaches and migraines. 35-80% higher chances to be exact! WOW! And to top it off, most of these studies have shown that this affects women more than men.   

Most migraine sufferers automatically go straight to outside variables to try and control the suffering.  But what if, instead of first trying to change environmental factors and food, you tried adopting an overall healthy lifestyle? I should also state, there is no conclusive evidence that losing weight will have a dramatic impact on the frequency and duration of migraines. However, the good news here is that there are no side affects like those linked to medications. In addition, who doesn’t want to eat healthy and overall just feel better?  So, my question to you is, what do you have to lose (besides the weight)?  Give it a go and see if this remedy helps you. Obviously, weight loss should be a healthy balance of working out and eating right.
