Sometimes it is obvious, other times it can creep up on you without you truly knowing what is actually happening. Yeah, that's a migraine for you. The millions of Americans that suffer from migraines know all too well the finicky and flippant nature of these overbearing attacks. For some of us the trigger is dietary, for others it is environmental. And for a large portion of others, the cause cannot even be truly traced to anything at all. Then there are the pre-migraine symptoms; unique to the individual, universal pain for everyone. The best thing to do is find out what your symptoms are so that you are able to quickly begin fighting the migraine before it hits you.

Here is a short list of some of the more common symptoms occurring before a migraine:

  • blurred vison
  • light sensitivity
  • gas
  • frequent urination
  • diarrhea
  • stomach pain
