Now that the weather is getting warmer, most of us want to spend as much time outside, as possible. Going to the beach, having a picnic, taking a nice long walk, or even going camping all sound like great ways to spend hours catching some rays! While you’re enjoying the amazing spring air, you might want to take some time to consider how much water you’re consuming. I know, it sounds pretty logical, right? You take a few sips of water here and there and, as long as you’re not thirsty, dehydration isn’t an issue. This could not be further from the truth! In fact, dehydration is an extremely common trigger for migraines. Because of this, it’s important to drink plenty of water.
Certain foods, such as fruit, are also great ways to stay hydrated in the heat. Fruit is a convenient and easy grab-and-go snack that will not only keep you hydrated, but will give you some quick energy for those long days outdoors. My absolute favorite warm weather fruits are oranges. If you’re feeling a little creative, I have picnic perfect watermelon radish and orange salad recipe that you will have to try!!
