I don’t know about all of y’all out there, but for me, I like to keep things simple. That goes double when it comes to preparing healthy meals. I work full time, am involved in many activities, and love my sleep. This leaves very little free time, and on top of that, no time to prepare healthy, nutritious meals. I’m sure most of you can relate. So, I’ve made it my mission to find delicious, relatively cheap and easy to prepare dishes. It’s a cherry on top when these dishes seem to be more difficult to prepare than they are, in all actuality. It’s always a plus when you can impress those who are skeptical ;) For that reason, I’m super excited to share one of my favorite easy, yet impressive dishes!!
This is one you will have to think outside the box a little, but let me tell you, it’s worth it. Most of you health minded individuals out there have heard of using spaghetti squash as a noodle substitute, I’m sure. But, how about using cabbage as another substitute? Before you gasp in horror and stop reading here, let me just say, you will be pleasantly surprised. Not only is cabbage cheap, but also the mild flavor lends itself for the perfect “noodle” in this dish. So, get cooking and let me know what your thoughts are on this one of a kind dish!
