The Dish on Magnesium

Magnesium plays a vital role in migraines. Studies have shown low levels of magnesium in the brain during the time a migraine hits. There are also, some individuals who naturally have lower levels of magnesium in the body, which may be the reason for migraine sensitivity to begin with. Either way you go, magnesium holds significance for anyone prone to having migraines.  However, don’t automatically assume a supplement is the way to go. This holds many risks, as well. You would need to talk to a physician before deciding to do this. Luckily, there are plenty of magnesium rich, plant based foods that are great to include in your diet. Here is one of my favorites that I think you will fall in love with too! It’s a warm, filling and of so simple dish you can make it just 15 minutes :D
